Clients with whom
Kenzie Hamlin works well
Kenzie takes a holistic and integrative therapeutic approach with our students and families, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work. They often utilize a bottom-up approach, focusing first on regulation of the body and nervous system before exploring underlying thoughts and beliefs. Somatic exercises, co-regulation, and self-regulation strategies are woven into their work with teens and parents. With families, Kenzie integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help parents identify and process their own emotional experiences, and to understand the impact those emotions have on their interactions with their children.
