Julia started her career in the therapeutic school and program field back in 2000. Since then, she has had the privilege of working with numerous families and witnessing the incredible impact that nature-based therapy has on their children.
What sets Julia apart is her natural ability to connect with parents and address their concerns with genuine warmth and compassion. She truly understands the challenges they face because she has been through it herself. When her own daughter was struggling, Julia wasted no time in enrolling her in a wilderness therapy program, which turned out to be a life-changing experience.
Originally from just outside the Nation's Capital, Julia's twin sister made the move to a charming small town, and Julia and her parents soon followed suit. Now, they all enjoy the refreshing mountain air and a more peaceful way of life. Julia's top priorities are her son and daughter, closely followed by her beloved dog. When she's not working, you can find her taking her dog for walks, practicing hot yoga, cycling, hitting the gym, or simply unwinding with a good book and a cup of coffee.
